Business Law

Another area of law that we focus on is the creation and the management of companies, such as a corporation, a limited liability company, a partnership, or a joint venture.

Family Law

As a law office that focuses on international la international probate and family law is another area of law we are focusing on. Special expertise is required and can be provided by us with respect to international probate and family law matters, especially in relation to Germany.

For example, if you are inheriting assets, that are located in Germany and you have completed the probate process in the United States, this does not automatically mean that you can obtain the assets located in Germany. In fact, you would have to go through the German probate process again. This can be very burdensome and extensive; knowledge of the other country’s probate law is required to be successful.

Due to our competency, we can represent you in the U.S. as well as in Germany.

Problems also arise in international divorce matters. Where should you file for divorce, in the United States or in another country? Which law is applicable? Can you take your child with you or can you ensure that your child’s stays in the United States and does not move back to where one parent may come from?

These questions may concern you when considering a divorce and the appropriate steps need to be planned.

Of course, general probate law, estate planning, wills and trust law, and “standard divorce cases” are handled by our firm as well.

We know that people who are facing legal problems in the area of probate or family law need quick and clear answers to their legal questions.

Immigration Law

The U.S. immigration law entails the filing of petitions and or applications in order to obtain legal status in the United States for a temporary stay as well as a stay for a longer period, to study, work, or live in the United States permanently.
